Relieved

I just wrote and lost a nasty, weepy, self pitying post that really revealed too much. It's a good thing it got lost. My DSL service has been on the fritz for days, and tonight, its bad service served me well. I didn't need to publish that post, but I did need to write it, and I did write it. It even read fairly well if you could handle all those vile emotions spewing up in it. That's a start, isn't it? just being able to write about how crappy this day has been? Isn't it?

I'm glad to hear you were ready to write it. All that stuff needs to be expressed. And you've exposed those awful feelings to the light of day. That's a good thing, whether anyone reads it or not.

I hope today is a better one for you.

Reminds me of when I used to write letter, re-write them, edit them to death, re-read them for hours...then throw them away.

This is why I have a private journal...

Good for you!!! I've found that once those words that torture us on the inside lose their power once they've found expression. Doesn't matter who sees them, the thing is to get them out. I'm glad you were able to do that. I hope you're feeling better!

Love,
Melissa

I firmly believe sometimes we have to cry, fuss, scream, kick, fume, etc. to cleanse ourselves of negitivity. To be ready to accept God's comfort. But, yes, it is better to keep it to yourself much of the time. So this worked out great for you.

I pray you to have a Merry Christmas inspite of all that has come at you of late.
