Good news, bad news

Bad news for the day: My knee gave out and I tumbled down the front porch steps.

Good news for the day: It's just sprained, and instead of crutches, I borrowed a cane with tremendous style.

Instead of fighting dragons, one is fighting for me.

Oh my goodness! Take care! My sister occasionally has to use a cane for her MS. Using one with "tremendous style" is her philosophy exactly. D and I gave her a handcarved one for her birthday last year (D didn't make it--his best friend, also a woodworker, did). She loved it.

I love your dragon. Very fitting, sweet one...

Take care. I am afraid of falling because I know I will try to break my fall, and in doing so, will break something else. It keeps me from learning how to rollerblade.

Nice cane, I just saw some pretty ones at World Market the other day.

Ilike the cane. It reminds me that I must get one for those bad days.

I am so sorry to hear this! Does this mean something long term in terms of repair work?
