Easter Morning
by Jean Garrique
And now my spring beauties,
Things of the earth,
Beetles, shards and wings of moth
And snail houses left
From last summer's wreck,
Now spring smoke
Of the burned dead leaves
And veils of the scent
Of some secret plant,
Come, my beauties, teach me,
Let me have your wild surprise,
Yes, and tell me on my knees
Of your new life.
To those who celebrate, I wish you all a very Happy Easter. On this, the day of resurrection, I have a prayer: to apply the lessons I've relearned this week. Let me just experience resurrection consciously and accept its reality. Let me have the strength and courage to keep working on this new life, and let me experience beauty however it surprises me. Amen.

That is a good prayer, Cynthia. May you experience response from the God who loves us, even in this. Love to you.
A garden poem! If it wasn't a cold and drizzly day, I'd be out there "on my knees" learning what the Universe would have me know about beauty springing forth from dirt...
Happy Easter, Cynthia. May this day herald a time of healing and rebirth for you. (((you)))
Amen.
