Woo-hoo

people consider Tennessee a solidly Republican red state, but I've always thought we were more purple. There are pockets of extreme conservatism, some true right wingnuts, some pockets of true liberalism and left wing kooks, but for the most part, Tennessee is pretty middle of the road.

(Come on people, this is the home of Al Gore. It wasn't just Harvard that made him liberal. Populism runs deep here.)

However, it looks like we're tilting blue again.
