In 1977, I was too young to vote but not too young to volunteer. I was a campaign telemarketer asking people to vote for Al Gore. I can honestly say that is the only election in which he's run that he didn't have my vote. He's also the only politician for whom I've never regretted voting. I am so proud of his nomination today for
The Nobel Peace Prize. Now, let's put him in the White House.

..southerners are so scary to talk to..
we're all guarded and giving out little hints that we're liberal..
well..most are.
I think Mr. Gore has considered the bullshit vs. the benefits of running again for national office, and found that the bullshit negates the worth of the office. Much like most of our best and brightest, he understands what a circus national politics are and believes he can do--is doing--more good outside of that arena. More's the pity. Way more.
Maybe he will run; he'd have a better chance this time around. I like Edwards: voted for him last time in the primary and will do it again.
