Letting the numbers speak

4 years

Over $409,631,180,000.00 spent

3220 American lives lost

258 lives lost in our coalition allies from 18 countries

24,042 Americans wounded

Projection (labeled as conservative) from Stratton VA Medical Center on the number of U.S. Iraq War veterans who will receive treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder: 250,000

A 2006 estimate of Iraqi deaths related by many reasons to war:

$2.41 for 1 gallon of regular gasoline today

God, help us all.

Thanks for this. Reality hurts - We all need to get our heads out of the sand and take a good look around.

My husband looked up from the paper the other day and asked, What exactly was this war about? It was all trumped up, right? And look where we are. Indeed.

The numbers MORE than speak....the SHOUT!

BTW....we can't touch gas here for $2.41. I can't get regular for less that $2.59.

Gas was $2.90 per gallon here, last time I looked. It's been boing up two or three cents a day. The powers that be are determined to have us paying $3.00/gallon by Spring Break.

Four years plus four years plus four more...this war can and probably will go on for many mre years than we want to consider. Thanks so much, Mr. "Decider..."
