Just how weird can I get?
Cecelia tagged me in the six wierd things meme. My first reaction was "what else can I reveal?" After the Dorkbloggers entry, I thought I'd really maxed out on revealing my personality quirks. Unfortunately it looks like it was time to just begin revealing the depths of my weirdness. So, here we go again.
1. One of my prize possessions is my childhood family's dictionary. It's about 18 inches long and around six inches deep. When I was a kid, I tried to read it from cover to cover.
2. For the last five years, I have woken up every morning at 3:00 a.m. If I'm lucky, I'll go right back to sleep. If I'm not, ugh. It's never 2:30, 3:30 or 4:00. It's always within 10 minutes on either side of 3:00 a.m.
3. Cecelia mentioned she can't leave the house without earrings. For me, it's perfume. I just don't feel quite right if I don't have a fragrance on.
4. I was once offered a phone sex job. I went to interview for a supervisory position for a customer service center. The operation actually ran several different telephone based businesses from one location, and they liked my voice so much, they wanted me for a different branch than the one to whom I had applied.
5. I go through phases with my music where for weeks, I'll listen to only one artist. Sometimes, it's a single album. Other times, I'll delve for everything I can find. Currently, I'm in a Peter Gabriel mood, and if I don't get In Your Eyes out of my head soon, I'll scream.
6. I can watch a movie or read a book over and over and over. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times I've read East of Eden or watched Casablanca. It's not just good books and movies though. I've lost count of how many times I've watched Sweet Home Alabama as well.

I wake up near 4a.m. most nights. Is there a one hour time difference between us?
I also like to watch my favorite movies over and over: Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Big Chill etc.
Wow a phone sex job? You must have a sexy voice. When I answer the phone I get asked if my mother is home. I hate that.
Now that was some fun and intriguing wierdness. Your body wants something from you at 3 AM... can you imagine what it might be? I do the same album/ artist thing as well though putting my iPod on shuffle can prove really fun and helpful to get away from that if I'm driving myself crazy.
Phone sex job offer: now I'm jealous.
