There are so many aspects to life. It's rich and complicated, and even the simplest of people is more complex than anyone can imagine. Each of our interests can shine like a jewel when it's in its own little box, but when they're massed together, it can be dazzling. I wanted my blog to reflect some of that intangible wealth.

I'm feeling really conflicted over all this. I feel like I'm being deserted. I can't leave AOL, for other reasons besides my journal. My heart is so heavy about this...it may be the beginning of the end of journaling for me. I write because I love to write, and that will never change... But I don't know if I can face the prospect of trying to build friendships all over again. I'm running all over the internet trying to figure out where everyone is going; some of the new places won't take my comments...it's just too hard. :-[
This has made me very upset. The whole ad thing was bad enough, but now, everyone scattering to the four winds. I have been running all over the internet trying to keep up with people, and my "cookies" issues with my new computer have made it impossible for me to leave comments. I'm going to try one more time, and then I'm throwing the whole journal thing out the damn window...
