Could likely be that she was merely examining the possibilites from a new angle. Or that she has a real yen to go that direction, but is a little afraid. Perhaps Someone is trying to point her that way. Definately a thing to take to the prayer closet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19060161.post-82197834979284419242007-06-04T17:06:00.000-05:002007-06-04T17:06:00.000-05:00Oh, to experience the vividly imaginative dreams o...Oh, to experience the vividly imaginative dreams of the young again. I still remember a few...totally fun and wonderful!

I think it's a fertility dream ~ in this case, a fertility of the mind ~ the creative urge to plant, to nurture, to grow. And a reminder that sometimes what we create grows beyond our original intent or our ability to control it, for good or for ill. Seed, cultivate ~ then stand back and watch as it becomes... :)Gigihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02651527173284826294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19060161.post-60363917558148299212007-06-04T09:56:00.000-05:002007-06-04T09:56:00.000-05:00Writing: Communication. And Lisa, I'm with you, boring dreams. here i was thinking it was a good dreaming night... but a decent reconnection with a college professor doesn't hold a candle to this.

i don't know hooey about dream interpretation, you've got good possibilities here. does sound like it could be a call to write though... it's such a powerful metaphor for writing.more cows than peoplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15848597902402114593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19060161.post-75620672909245384452007-06-04T00:45:00.000-05:002007-06-04T00:45:00.000-05:00Why do I have such boring dreams? Last night I had some kind of "West Wing-ish" dream, with me somehow involved with the Bush Administration (in an adversarial sort of way...)

Anyway...I think C is dancing around the kind of relationship with words that makes for a good writer. We all know what a love/hate sort of affair it can be. She may yet be a writer. She has many years ahead of her to put it down and pick it back up again...Lisa :-]https://www.blogger.com/profile/02237889098638895390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19060161.post-5522830230392582342007-06-03T21:46:00.000-05:002007-06-03T21:46:00.000-05:00Awesome dream. The Native Americans believe words ...Awesome dream. The Native Americans believe words have power and don't use them lightly. To speak a word is to bring something into being. Words are not abstract to them, but as much a part of the material world as a tree, a fish, a mountain. Words are also part of the spiritual world.

I can see a dual meaning in the dream:

1. She certainly has not put aside her wish to put her life and thoughts into a book.

2. She understands the power of words to bring things into being (people who love books do understand this). These "things" can indeed be pleasurable or frightening. She is thinking of how she might shape her future.Theresa Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00103717736011804799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19060161.post-92141580889459384412007-06-03T20:42:00.000-05:002007-06-03T20:42:00.000-05:00Well - I don't know what it means, but I love the ...Well - I don't know what it means, but I love the image this post created in my mind.
