You kind of hit me in the gut when you ask "is it more comfortable to be miserable than to change?" I've been thinking the same thing in a slightly different context..."is it less scary to stay miserable than to accept inevitable change?" But sometimes you have to realize that asking the questions is not the goal in and of itself. So you have to stop asking and start doing. Anything. Even cleaning your bedroom or re-arranging your living room. The sense of accomplishment puts you in a better place from which to ask a few more questions.
